CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Students complete hands-on clinical practice designed to reinforce the didactic portion of the program. Clinical activities focus on safe workflow, patient preparation, positioning, and scan fundamentals under appropriate supervision and site policies.

Clinical learning resources included
Students also receive access to practical training videos covering commonly used MRI workflows and equipment (e.g., GE and Siemens), including positioning and scanning fundamentals.
Clinical requirements & competencies
A clinical competency checklist and rotation expectations are provided at the beginning of the program. Students are responsible for completing required competencies as instructed.
Supervision and support
Clinical activities are completed under appropriate supervision and site guidelines.
The clinical team is available to answer questions and provide guidance during the rotation period.
We provide guidance on exam application steps when applicable; students are responsible for completing and submitting their own applications.
CLINICAL PRACTICE DURATION
Clinical practice includes 200 hours. Scheduling options may vary based on site availability and student schedule.
Typical time windows (example):
Monday–Friday: 8:00am–12:00pm
Monday–Friday: 12:00pm–4:00pm
Monday–Friday: 4:00pm–8:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am–4:00pm
CLINICAL FEE (IF APPLICABLE)
A Clinical Fee of $800 may apply for the clinical rotation portion of the program. This fee is separate from tuition and covers clinical coordination and required clinical administration associated with the rotation process. Availability and site requirements may vary by location.
Important: The Clinical Fee (if applicable) must be paid before the clinical rotation begins.
UNIFORMS & SITE REQUIREMENTS
Uniform requirements depend on the hospital/clinic site (example: black or blue pants may be required). Additional site requirements may include documentation and compliance items required by the facility.
